Street Fighter III: 3rd Strike Frame Data Input Window
High and Low Parries
When inputting a parry attempt against a ground attack, there is an input window for both high and low parries.
Throws Performed Differently
In 3rd Strike, throws are performed differently by pressing LPLK universally.
Startup and Hitstun
Startup corresponds to the number of frames BEFORE an event hitblock is registered by the game. In 3S, the final frame of a move's hitstun allows a character to block a normal or special move, as well as some others.
Legacy Frame Data Notation
Third Strike uses Legacy frame data notation. If an attack has 7 frames of startup, it hits on the 8th frame.
Beyond the Bradygames Guide
It goes far beyond the Bradygames guide and provides more detailed information like active hit frames, recovery, and more.
Insane Frame Data
Some characters have insane frame data to enable them to do insane damage and discourage the opponent from fighting.
Quarantine Fighting Game Engine
During this quarantine period, one person has been working on making a fighting game engine and has been using Ryu's Third Strike data.
