Bill Returns from Prison to Rules

Helping Friend Creates Concern

Return to Society after 18 Years

Bill has finally been released from prison after 18 years. Many Rules have changed in that time, and now he finds himself overwhelmed trying to get used to life beyond the walls of his former home. Upon his release, he was given a long list of rules that he must follow. These included everything from where he could live to when he could leave his house. Bill struggled to adjust to these new rules and found himself feeling like he was still in prison. He felt like he was being punished for a crime that he had already served his time for. Bill missed the simple things in life. He missed being able to go for walks in the park, go to the movies, and eat out at restaurants. HeMissed the freedom to do what he wanted, when he wanted to do it. Bill's friend, Mark was happy to hear of Bill's release. However, he was concerned about his friend's adjustment to life outside of prison. Mark knew that Bill would have a hard time adjusting to the rules and regulations of society. He was also worried about Bill's ability to find a job and a place to live. Mark decided to take Bill in and help him get back on his feet. Mark gave Bill a place to stay and helped him find a job. He also helped Bill adjust to the rules of society. In the next upcoming article, find out how Bill's transition back into society is coming along.
